Whirls of Pontar

The Whirls of Pontar is a larp that will take you to the realities known from the game The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. We take the beginning of the video game as the starting point of our story: the troops of Nilfgaard took control of most of the lands south of Pontar. The Northern Kingdoms faced a crisis. War hangs in the balance and everyone is asking themselves when it will break out.

The borderlands

Meanwhile these events are distantly echoed in the small town of Tassels-Flochburg on the Pontarian Isles, perched on the Temerian-Redanian border, where the residents are just getting ready for the Harvest Festival Fair. It's an excellent opportunity not only to meet visitors from the Continent, travelers from across the farthest borders, refresh old acquaintances or establish new relationships, but also to mark who really controls this isolated community.

Create the history of a small town with us. Join one of the groups whose actions and interests clash on the island. Have an influence on the future of the town and the direction in which the story will unfold. A larp that gives fans a place to play but is also friendly to beginners. This may be your first larp, so you don't need to know the intricacies of the Witcher world - we will provide you with all the information necessary to have fun.

About the larp

SETTING: the world of The Witcher, known from the CD PROJEKT RED game

GENRE: urban, social, adventure, political larp

LOCATION: Slavs and Vikings’ Center Jomsborg – Vineta – Wolin

CZAS: 21-24 August 2025

PLAYERS NUMBER: 60-150

PLAYERS' AGE: 18+

PRICE: 390-540 EUR

The ticket price includes

several days of adventure in an atmospheric location;

an individual character sheet based on a completed questionnaire;

necessary materials to prepare for the game and participation in on-site workshops;

support from the organizing team before the event and on site;

rich scenography, special effects and make-up support;

accommodation at the game site in one of the atmospheric medieval huts;

full board and access to refreshments during the game;

larp photos made by professional photographers.

The ticket price doesn’t cover the accident insurance and transportation to the larp location. We will organize a shuttle bus from Goleniow Airport and Szczecin train station with an additional fee.

Whirls of Pontar is planned for 60-150 people and will only be able to take place if we reach the minimum number of participants. Otherwise, the event will be cancelled and those who have paid for tickets will receive a refund.
