Become a Witcher
The year is 1152. The world has yet to hear about Geralt of Rivia. Falka’s Rebellion is raging in Redania, whilst a surge of monsters is sweeping through Kaedwen. The Grand Master of Kaer Morhen is introducing drastic changes to the recruitment of witcher candidates. Thanks to the help of a mage from Tor Carnedd, not only men but also women can now pass the Trial of the Grasses.
Why has this chapter in the history of Kaer Morhen been forgotten? Stand in the castle courtyard and witness the stories the books keep silent about.
Perhaps one of them will be about you?
Now is your chance to train as a Witcher, pass the Trial of the Grasses, and face monsters head-on. LarpVenture invites all fans of dark tales, moral dilemmas, and epic adventures to Kaer Morhen. We’ll travel to the witcher stronghold 100 years before the events of the video game by CD PROJEKT RED.
Spend three days living in real medieval castle. Train in sword fighting, study the lore of monsters and witch-hunter potions. Face the challenges and secrets hidden within Kaer Morhen. Prove that you have what it takes to become a monster slayer.

How is the adventure like?
It’s like being inside a video game - but with unlimited dialogue options
It’s like the plot of a good movie or TV show - but you decide how it unfolds
It’s like a journey to another world - and a break from the mundane reality

Join the adventure of a lifetime

Find Your Path
Kaer Morhen doesn’t require superhuman physical fitness, special skills, or acting talent. All you need is a desire to experience something new and a little imagination. Although The Witcher’s world is brutal and rife with discrimination, we don’t carry that over into the real world. Any adult can take part in our adventure, regardless of gender, nationality, race, religion, or sexual orientation.
Choose your path

Survive the Trial of the Grasses
Most characters in the game are people who are yet to become witchers, with their greatest test still ahead of them - the Trial of the Grasses. They prepare under the guidance of masters and witchers wintering in the castle. The adepts are only just setting foot on the path of destiny, but they are already facing the challenges of witcher training
This is the perfect option for people beginning their larp adventure, as well as those unfamiliar with the intricacies of the witcher world. With this option, you can rent a full set of equipment, including a costume and props.

Take the Trial of the Medallion
Several witchers are wintering at Kaer Morhen. Before they set out on the trail once more, they must face the Trial of the Medallion. This is their final chance to seek counsel from the Masters and exchange hard-earned experience. It is also their duty to support the adepts in the last moments before the Trial of the Grasses.
Witcher roles are intended for players already familiar with larping and The Witcher lore. We expect to offer a maximum of 10 witcher spots per edition.

"Have you heard about this whole Falka business? Why should I worry about problems in Redania when we have our own in Kaedwen? The trails are full of monsters, and there’s some commotion within the walls of the Witcher stronghold. A mage recently arrived regarding this matter; they call him Radmir Tor Carnedd. Monster slayers, dog’s blood—they’re more trouble than they’re worth...”
