ONI (THEY)

Around the crater, the military tents popped up like mushrooms, filled with people in hazmat suits, lab coats, uniforms, and black suits. This has attracted colorful crowds of UFO and conspiracy theory enthusiasts and the media like bees to honey. The peace, routine, and privacy of local people have been disrupted. What will happen, after it turns out that we are indeed dealing with an alien civilization?

ONI (they) is not a larp about UFOs, it is a larp about people who find themselves facing an encounter with a UFO.

And although the unidentified object of research and speculation will be an extraterrestrial element, and supernatural themes will appear in the game, at the center of our story are people, their fears, desires, and ambitions.

INTERNATIONAL FACTION

The larp features several characters from outside Poland, representing international politics and diplomacy. These characters will be written in English for players who speak English.

Character groups

English-speaking characters are part of SUITS

They represent the interests of political powers but may also have their own goals, motives, and agendas. If they were Polish citizens, some might have been better suited to the other groups, given their backgrounds. Still they might be asked to work with these groups, but don’t have the same clearance as them.

LAB COATS

Polish-speaking group. People employed to work on discovering the nature of this phenomenon: scientists, researchers, specialists, technicians. Are they ready for what awaits them?

UNIFORMS

Polish-speaking group. The military and agencies that ensure the safety of people and secrets in the zero zone. But what if the situation gets out of control?

SUITS

Spots for English-speaking characters. People from government and international diplomacy, making decisions about zone zero and how much of it the world will learn about. Is the world ready for this?

HAZMATS

Polish-speaking group. Witnesses who were on site before the authorities arrived and are now in quarantine. What if other secrets come to light alongside the UFO?

TIN FOIL HATS

Polish-speaking group. A colorful group of people who live to investigate mysteries and conspiracies, alternative beliefs, seeking sensation or the meaning of life. Will they find what they desire?

Cinematic and spectacular

We will build the site of the spaceship crash and the locations that have sprung up around it.

You can expect, among other things, a field laboratory, a military headquarters, a political briefing tent, a military canteen, and a base for followers of alternative beliefs. We encourage you to explore the area in search of more UFO traces... and other secrets of Bida village.

SETTING: fictional Polish village in the middle of nowhere, 2026

GENRE: psychological thriller with elements of action and sci-fi

LANGUAGE: Polish and English

PLAYER COUNT: 60-100 including about 10 spots for English-speaking players

PLAYER AGE: 18+

Ticket price includes

⭗ in-game accommodation in a multi-person military tent on a camp bed, with a blanket and pillow,

The ticket price doesn’t cover the accident insurance and transportation to the larp location. If there is sufficient interest, we will organize group transportation from Skierniewice or Warsaw.
